The Diet Solutions – How I Lost 20 Pounds Fast

If you’re anything like I used to be, you’re dead set on finding a way to lose weight fast and keeping it off permanently. If you’re currently fighting being overweight right now or trying to get rid of a few pounds, continue reading because I think my own story about being overweight and how I was finally able to stop the up and down roller coaster of dieting might help you save a lot of pain and disappointment.

Just like many people experience, my weight gain really didn’t kick in until after starting a job. I basically did a lot of sitting and by the end of the day I had no energy to workout.

Initially I was able to drop a couple pounds during that time by not indulging as much with treats that are so common in the office like brownies and cookies, and fried foods on the weekend. I was even able to get into my old wedding dress.

Then when I became pregnant it completely changed everything. I put on 20 pounds and you could see it in my legs, thighs, and belly. I could no longer fit into anything I used to wear before I got pregnant – that was pretty depressing.

|I had read that once I started breastfeeding that this would help me lose weight, but that didn’t end up happening.

From that point on it has been a never ending fight with my weight, going from one diet to the next. If it’s out there, I have tried it – calorie based diets to diets that just consisted of protein shakes. Each time I found a new diet to try, I was sure I found the solution.

I’m really not a big fan of using things like medicines or drugs, so the one thing I haven’t tried are weight loss pills, even though I have friends that have (each of which has had very different results). You never really know what the long term effects are and so to me it’s definitely not worth the risk.

I got to a point after trying so many things over the course of 5 years and always being hungry and grumpy that I wanted to just say “forget it, it’s not worth the aggravation” and just accept myself as being heavy, donate all the clothes I could no longer fit in, and let that be the end of it. But I couldn’t ignore the fact that I would really be shortening my life continuing to carry this extra weight around. Feeling pretty desperate I went online again to try and find a quick diet that would work for me this time. I really felt like out of everything that’s out there, there had to be at least something.

During my search this is when I found the diet solutions program website. Their video was pretty straightforward and I could really relate to some of the things they said. It really made a whole lot of sense!!! After listening to the video and reading their site, I was pretty impressed with how much I was able to learn considering the fact that I hadn’t bought anything yet.

At this point I thought to myself, “well why not? It’s not an expensive book. And if it doesn’t work, not much time and money has been lost…and if it does work I can finally fit back into those clothes I was going to donate.” So I went ahead and downloaded it. It’s called the diet solution program.  I started to read it and before I knew it I was going through my cupboards and getting rid of all the things that were making me fat, even some of the so called “health foods” and the list I was making for my next trip to the grocery store was looking pretty different.

I lost 2 pounds inside of the first week, and kept losing more, I could not believe it! I honestly look like a different person, definitely different from the person in the old photos. It’s pretty awesome actually, on top of losing the extra weight, I have so much more energy now – that’s something I didn’t really expect. I feel like I’m finally in tune with my body and what it needs.

That’s pretty much it. That’s how I was able to get rid of the extra 20 pounds of fat I had been carrying around. No painful diets, getting dizzy from working out for hours, dangerous pills, expensive methods, just some pretty fundamental concepts and an updated grocery list helped me get back into the body I had been trying to get into for years. The experience has convinced me of the solid information in this video and book.
